Distillation is one of the most widely used separation processes, and thus important for refining, petrochemical, and gas processing. Most engineers rely on process simulation when designing and troubleshooting distillation columns without sufficient understanding of fundamentals. Lack of understanding often leads to poor design, operation, and non-optimum solutions. Capable engineers can operate and troubleshoot distillation columns efficiently even without process simulations. They can predict column performance even without lab sampling and analysis. They can find the right root cause of distillation process troubles by strong fundamental knowledge and techniques provided in the course.
Engineers e.g. chemical engineers and mechanical engineers, process design engineers, process engineers, engineering company engineers, any technical people dealing with distillation process and equipment.
