This course covers the technical aspects of pumps and compressors, focusing on design, specification, and troubleshooting. Engineers will learn about different types of pumps and compressors, understand process requirements, and delve into specific elements like shaft sealing, seal flushing systems, series vs. parallel operations, and viscosity corrections. The course also distinguishes compressors from blowers and fans, helping engineers accurately calculate suction and discharge conditions.
Engineers, including chemical and mechanical engineers, process design engineers, process engineers, and any technical personnel dealing with pumps and compressors.
