Learn to evaluate risk using Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), a method that numerically combines the severity of consequences with the frequency of events. This course provides a foundational understanding of risk concepts and processes relevant to the energy and process industries. Through a mix of theory, exercises, and project examples, participants will learn scenario selection, data input, risk result interpretation, and QRA application for engineering solutions and ALARP demonstration. Tools such as EFFECTS and RISKCURVES software will be provided, along with a demonstration of FLACS for hybrid QRA.
